Shahid Kapoor (Mumbai, 25 febbraio 1981) è un attore indiano. Si tratta di uno dei volti nuovi di Bollywood. È figlio dell'attore Pankaj Kapoor e di Neelima Azeem, altra personalità legata al mondo dello spettacolo indiano. Ha avuto una relazione con Kareena Kapoor.

Shahid Kapoor born February 25, 1981. His father, the actor Pankaj Kapoor and his mother, actress and classical dancer Neelima Azeem divorced when he was only three years. After the divorce, she went to live with his mother but went on to have a good relationship with his father and stepmother Supriya Pathak.
He studied at Rajhans Vidyalaya, Mumbai. Kapoor is a vegetarian and has three siblings: a sister and two brothers named Sanah named Ishaan Khattar Ruhaan and with whom she starred in the movie Vaah! I Life To Aisi (2005). His maternal grandfather was Anwar Azeem, a noted journalist and author of Bihar. His great grandfather was the great director, writer, journalist and Urdu writer Khwaja Ahmad Abbas, more popularly known as KA Abbas. His mother Neelima Azeem is the daughter of Anwar, one of the greatest writers of Urdu. KA Abbas, in turn, was the grandson of Hali, the head of the protected Urdu poet, Ghalib.
During the shooting of Fida (2004), Kapoor began dating Kareena Kapoor and left after three years but according to him, they remained on good terms, says: "I wish you all the happiness in the world. I have great respect for her. It's a wonderful girl. "
