Il suo nome in Hindi è प्रियंका चोपड़ा. Ha lavorato in molti film di Bollywood. È stata eletta Miss Mondo nel 2000. Dopo il debutto al cinema in un film in lingua tamil nel 2001, approda nella più importante cinematografia indiana nel 2003, con il film The Hero: Love Story of a Spy.
